The Village Shops on Venetian Bay: Annual Boat Parade!!
On December 12, 2017, The Village Shops hosted their annual boat parade. It was a magical night as crowds gathered to view the decorated boats that illuminated the Bay. This year’s participants showcased holiday creativity beyond twinkle lights, adorning their boats with everything from sparkling icicles and Christmas trees to dancing Santas, all of which were filled with festive boaters waving and dancing along to the Holiday music.
This year our three lucky winners received a trophy and a $1,000 donation to the charity of their choice.
The Lutgert Family took home the first place trophy with their crowd-favorite, angelic boat that led the parade, donating $1,000 to Grace Place For Children & Families.
Our second place winner, The Novinski Family, lit up the night sky with their illuminated tree, fishing poles, and presents. The Novinski Family selected St. Williams Catholic Church as the charity of their choice.
The third place trophy was awarded to Gandol Family. Their shining ‘Sassy’ boat featured two special guests, Santa and Frosty, donating to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Preceding the parade, families entered a winter wonderland! This fun-filled wonderland included holiday carolers, complimentary photos with Santa, story readings by Mrs. Claus, face painting, balloon artists, and a snow show here at the Naples’ North Pole.
We hope to see you next year!
